Early on, Clair Brothers Systems encountered several installations that required both sound and lighting systems. Through relationships (and some chance encounters!) with lighting vendors and designers, the company entered the visual realm and became a true systems integrator.

The first installations were small in scope, but quickly grew in size and complexity. By taking the same design-and-build approach as our audio counterparts, the lighting branch grew steadily with the company.

A great Cuban restaurant/night club in Orlando was outfitted with theatrical and intelligent lighting.

From home theaters to nightclubs, churches to theaters or concert halls to amphitheaters, we use the same approach. First, we develop an infrastructure that is correct for the venue and clients needs. Next, we decide on the level of control and integration with other systems. We choose the correct fixtures for the applications, provide a budget for approval and generate the required documentation. We then work with other contractors for a smooth construction schedule, supervise and install the required components of the system, then finally, train the end users.
Today our approach is to use the best quality components that we can find in our designs. Our choices are based upon trying to reduce problems to as close to zero as possible. Following this approach, we design systems whose elements include dimming, control, stationary and moving fixtures, fiber optics, neon, trussing, architectural and specialty items on an as needed basis. From a small pin spot and a mirror ball to a complete touring lighting rig, Clair Brothers' engineers work with the clients to meet their specific needs.
