Heights Baptist Church
Richardson, Texas
The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson Texas moved into a new facility in April of 2004. Clair Brothers worked with the church since early 2003 to ensure that the new sanctuary is equipped with an AVL package complementing the grand nature of the new church.

The main sanctuary is a spacious 2520 seat room. Two clusters of Clair CAT-214 were used for the main Left-Right loudspeaker arrays, with various Clair, JBL and Community products serving as stage monitors, side and front fills, subwoofers and delays. Most of the speakers are hidden in soffits and under the platform, giving the church a distinct and clean appearance. The Front of the House console is a Midas Legend.
Theatrical lighting fixtures and choir monitors are recessed in ceiling alcoves for a clean look from the seating area. Stage monitoring for the Pastor and Praise Team is provided by Clair Wedge monitoros. The band uses an Aviom personal mixing system.
A view from the seating area during a service. Two rear projection screens provide a very bright image that is easilly discernible even from the back rows. The theatrical lighting package is controlled by an ETC lighting console and lets the operators adapt the ambiance to any mood.
Clair Brothers UB-2003 under-balcony loudspeakers provide sound reinforcement for the back rows. The speakers are time-aligned and equalized for a seamless blend with the main clusters.
